I ordered my third 3D figure at 3D PETSHOP, a company that makes pet’s 3D figure which was introduced on NHK’s Machikado Johoshitsu. It’s finally finished! There are 3 standard sizes, S, M, and L, but they can also make larger sizes LL and 3L. I ordered M size for my first figure, then the second and the third ones were both made in 3L size.

The part that I really concentrated on was her eyes. I discussed with the 3D designer to express Rinse’s playful eyes in some way. They suggested to me many ways they can do, and they made the eyes just look like hers.

Rinse had charming and big round eyes like shining marbles and she was very playful. To express her features, they made the figure like the following.

1. Make her ears a little flat to make her look playful.
2. Draw some white spotlights on her iris to make her eyes look shiny.

Next time, I’d like to make a figure with a ball that looks like playing with me or a figure that looks like smiling with her tongue out. I’m looking forward to making many other figures in various poses.
